Ref sheet for "The Chimbley Sweep". I doodled him a while back, not knowing what I would do with him. Much more recently I read about
 's fancy-pants Endzone contest, and I realized that the Chimbley Sweep would make a great contestant. ...I mean, no, he's not exactly all that original, but in a contest where the majority of characters are half-elves/half-demons that can fly, cast magical spells, swing twenty-foot-swords and shoot lasers out of their butts, I figure he'll be unique enough. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. in case you don't know, he's the guy who illustrated all the Roald Dahl books
anyway, therefore your chimbley sweep makes me happy ^_^
for that, and also because I love chimney sweeps. I wanted to be a chimney sweep so bad when I was a little kid after watching Mary Poppins.
I still think it's a pretty badass job
